The Schulich MBA teaches you to manage complexity, ambiguity and change as you examine business issues in a global environment using multiple perspectives. The capstone course, the Strategy Field Study, is the ultimate in integrative management education. This six-month strategic consulting project allows you to apply your classroom learning and strategic thinking in a real-time business environment.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

International Master of Business Administration (IMBA)

The Schulich International MBA (IMBA) is a full-time 20 month program for Canadian and international students who want to launch a career in international business and stand out from the crowd.

MBA in India

As the first major business school to deliver an internationally recognized two-year MBA program with India, Schulich is acknowledged as a leading provider of transformational management education to many of India’s best and brightest minds.

Schulich offers the first year of its MBA program at its Hyderabad campus, taught by the same award-winning faculty members who regularly teach at our Toronto campuses. In the second year of the MBA India program, students study in Toronto and customize their studies by choosing and combining from Schulich’s 18 MBA specializations.

Joint MBA/JD Degrees

The Joint Master of Business Administration/Juris Doctor (MBA/JD) Program offered by the Schulich School of Business together with Osgoode Hall Law School features a unique combination of courses to prepare students for the demands of leading-edge careers in business, law and a variety of fields in which the two disciplines intersect.

Joint MBA/MFA and MBA/MA Degrees

The Schulich School of Business – together with the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design (AMPD) Graduate Studies at York University – offer a three-year, full-time, program leading to both a Master of Business Administration and either a Master of Fine Arts or Master of Arts degree. With its almost 50 year history, it is acknowledged as one of the most established and respected programs of its kind in Canada.

    Graduate Diplomas

    Post-MBA Diploma in Advanced Management (PDAM)

    The relentless, rapid change associated with the business environment means that those holding MBA degrees must constantly upgrade their management knowledge and skills. Schulich has developed the Post-MBA Diploma in Advanced Management (PDAM), a program unique to North America in recognition of this need.

    Open to individuals who hold an MBA degree from a recognized business school, the PDAM re-immerses graduates into the second year of the Schulich MBA program, allowing them to further their knowledge in an area of specialization or to update their skills.

    Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering (GDFE)

    The Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering at York University is offered by the Schulich School of Business in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. It provides rigorous training in financial theory, methods of engineering, tools of mathematics, and the practice of programming.

    Diploma in Intermediate Accounting

    The Schulich Diploma in Intermediate Accounting (DIAc) is an 8-month graduate diploma program designed to provide a foundation in the field of Professional Accountancy in Canada. Students will gain a thorough understanding of financial and management accounting fundamentals and grow their understanding of the sub-disciplines of the field.

    Diploma in Advanced Accounting

    The Diploma in Advanced Accounting (DAAc) is a concurrent program for Master of Accounting (MAcc) students who elect to graduate after completion of Term 2 of the MAcc program.

    The DAAc is designed to further students’ academic and intellectual abilities in all fields of professional accountancy. The program places an emphasis on developing students’ critical thinking abilities and their capacity to operate in decision-based environments characterized by high degrees of ambiguity through applied case analysis. Cases also help to develop students’ appreciation of multiple viewpoints and perspectives.
